SIMON O'KEEFFE

"Engaging and affable" Hot Press
"A witty mix of rehearsed and quick tongued impromptu comedy" www.kilkennycityonline.com
A top young Irish comedic talent, Simon has marked himself out as a performer who is one to watch. A highly versatile act who is capable of playing to any type of audience with the number of his performances as headliner ever increasing.
Having turned professional in 2004 he is playing more and more of the top clubs across U.K., and has already played the likes of The Comedy Store, Rawhide, The Stand, The Empire and The Comedy Cafe as well as being a regular act and host at all the top clubs in Ireland including The Laughter Lounge and The International Comedy Club. He has even played as far away as Spain.
Simon is now in his third year as resident M.C. of the Capital Comedy Club every Wednesday and Sunday in Temple Bar in Dublin, as well as of The Revolution Comedy Club every Tuesday in Waterford. A regular contributor to Irish radio, he has appeared on 98Fm, Newstalk 106, Spin 103.8, NEAR FM and Belfield FM. His television debut came in 2005 on The Big Bite On RTE1 and he has also appeared on Swedish television as part of an item in a travel program on things to do in Waterford (that's go to see him play, we think).
